The old horse
stables house over a thousand exhibits demonstrating the life of
the farmer and artisan, among them cultivating tools and harvesters.
They have all been collected and restored by Marianne and Alois
Liebmann with a painstaking love of detail. The aim is to preserve
our knowledge of old rural techniques by showing various work processes:
maize husking, making brooms from birch rods and weaving baskets
out of willow rods or straw.
